Hello, i'm planing to lower my car but i dont really know which option to choose between the KW adjustable springs, the H&R sport spring, or the H&R coilovers. I have an 2013 audi A5 non S-line with avant garde M580 20x10. Please i need some advise. I was gona go with the H&R oe springs but i kinda want it a bit lower than 1" front and back. Which one you guys thing should fit best. And is the H&R coilovers worth it or i should go with the KW for a cheaper price? Thank you very much

I think you'd be good with OE Springs for it, but if -1" isn't enough, and the Sport -1.3" is too much, you'd have to go with coils, wouldn't you? And I'm a fan of H&R. but it's my preference.

I went with the Vogtland springs on mine mainly because the H&R's drop didn't do it for me. Ive been pretty happy with them. Dropped the car just under 1.5 inches. I'm running a set of HRE FF01's with Hankook 285/30/20 tires; looks good and no issues.

I have an A5 as well with AG M580's and trust me when I say, do not go with H&R OE springs. Been there done that. H&R claims a 1" drop but it comes closer to a 1/2 in drop in reality especially on the front end. The springs will cost you @ $250 and the install another $300-$400 and you will not get the look you want with 20" wheels. I also felt the H&R"s were also a bit floaty. I cannot comment on any other springs but I am very satisfied with my H&R streets. On our 2.0's go coils or go home.

I can't comment on the A5 directly but I went with H&R coils on my S5. From what I've seen on here, the springs come out nice if you've got the V8 but without the extra weight in the front you can actually end up with a bit of reverse rake on just springs. In the end I went with the adage "do it nice or do it twice". Not sure where you're at but for me it has also been nice to be able to raise the car a bit for winter as well.

H&R coilover FTW. Love mine....being able to fine tune the height no matter what version "5" you have is the only reason you need.

Very happy with H&R coilovers. Recommend coils over springs so you can adjust height to your own liking.

How low could you actually get on the H&R coilovers? My Vogtland's dropped me about 1.5 inches; but I'm thinking lower is the key, especially with 20's

I have KW HAS on mine and I'm a big fan since I can keep the Audi Drive Select feature and have the ability to raise and lower my ride height. If you don't have ADS then I'd opt for coils unless you don't plan on changing the height any once it's lowered.

IIRC the adjustment goes as low as 2.7" F&R.

A quick Google tells me 1" to 2.2" front and rear. Haven't actually measured though.
