On the way home from work the read oil light came on with a nice little beep to to let me know. I knew better than to keep on driving, so I had it towed back to my shop (AAA gives me 3 free tows a year for being a member).
Just added a quart of oil the other day so I was sure the oil level was good. Checked just to verify, oil was indeed full. Lifted it up to check around and saw a trail of fresh oil stemming from the oil pressure switch on the back of the oil filter stand housing. Checked it and was greeted by a connector full of oil. Cleaned the connector and ordered a new pressure switch for like $5 bucks from the parts store and put it in.
Required a 24mm socket. Drove it around and no problems after. Decided to do the full oil change at the same time to be on the safe side.
PS: Broke the connector section of the old switch because I wasn't careful when removing it.
