Brake light + 3 beeps - break fluid, but can it be pads/rotor related also?

So I got the "low on brake fluid" 3-4 times while driving home.

Checked the reservoir level and it is still above the ^ arrow.

Figured it might be when driving the fluid moves around and the beep comes up due to that?

Car is about 3 years old and that's when you have to change / fill it right?

So my actual question is.... Do I have to flush the entire system or is it ok to just fill it up with the proper DOT 4 fluid?

Could this be related to pads/rotor life at all also? I changed my rear pads and rotors a while back, and asked the service people to check if any of my brakes needed replacement (mostly just the front). They said no need to change my front pads and rotors yet.

My most recent maintenance interval was done less than 1000 miles ago btw.

If the fluid level is ok (I'd try adding a little to see if the problem goes away) then it could be a short in the switch or connector.
Pull the connector off the fluid cap and inspect it.

I was more concern about it being ok to top off the existing fluid with a fresh new one or do I need to bleed the whole system? The beep was coming up because it's right above the min level so when driving and doing turns etc the shifting of the fluid cause it to dip where the sensor reads too low.

Just fill it up with DOT4 fluid, if it goes down again, take it in for a leak check.
