So local Pick-n-Pull has a 2000 S4 with a manual transmission I am considering pulling the transmission and I believe it is worth some money. It will only cost me $100

Car was totaled so I would assume tranny is good.

Is there any way to test this transmission while I'm at the yard.

Or should I just say forget it.

    You should get it.
And the pedal assembly, and shifter/ linkage since you're there. Front axles also, I mean, you're pulling the trans, get everything that completes a swap- I'll buy it off you.

I could be mistaken but this car is eerily similar to a local laser that was totaled here in Colorado

Am I correct in thinking that says 206,605 miles and runs and drives on the window?
