Was wondering if anyone here can recommend a good brand to go with on my A4 B8. There is a thread on this in the B8 section, but most of the recommendations center around what works best in freezing temperatures. Wanted to know what the experience has been here in sunny so cal.

Whatever you do, don't use Rain-X or any other brand which might have some sort of water repellent in it since that stuff can gum up the resevoir sensor. Just get the regular cheapo stuff at Pep Boys

Well I run water/methanol injection on my car, and I use my windshield washer reservoir as my meth tank (50/50 mix), so I kinda use that as my washer fluid too.

Honestly it works better than any of the crap I've bought at the auto parts store, and meth is pretty cheap too.

Same here. Recently was on E. Picked up a bottle of Auto Zone's cheap stuff (3 bucks) just to get rid of the message on the dash.

I noticed today. There is a way to turn off the messages. I haven't tried it tho
