    S5 manual rev matching

I wanted to check with you all if my S5 is normal or if something is wrong. When I disengage the clutch, the engine and RPM shoots up briefly. My tech at the dealer says its rev matching and by design, but it is weird. Anyone else have this?

Yeah exactly. If I disengage at say 1500, it'll jump up to 2000, hang for a second and then drop

Same for me too, except that my engine wants to rev several times, For example, when I would be coming up to a stoplight or something like that, as soon as I would push the clutch in to coast to a stop my engine would rev up to around 700 or so RPM and back to idle and back up at least three times and then idle normaly ,and this was without me touching the throttle. I never found the cause and it wasn't all the time. It was an annoyance but I never tried to find the reason.
