sometimes remote opens and/or closes the car and sometimes I have to do it manually.

some posts suggest antenna worn wires hanging by a thread thus working randomly due to car movement.

could someone illustrate or explain were are these wires located? many thanks!

Could anyone further explain how to reach this location? I'd like at least to identify if there is bad wiring before taking the car to the shop

My remote was intermittently working for a couple weeks then quit altogether. The problem was corrosion inside the key fob remote due to a failed PANIC button rubber. Failure (tearing) of the rubber allowed moisture and contaminants to infiltrate the internal electronics. Corrosion ate a few pins on the surface mount chips and it was not easily repairable. I replaced with a new remote from ebay. If I had caught it before it fully quit, I might have been able to clean and resolder a few things and keep it working.

A wet lock module in the trunk or wiring/antenna fault could also explain your issue, though.
