Unhappy A/C Line Compressor To Drier: 2 different part ### HELP HELP HELP!

So I am driving in LA, car is lowered (not slammed, on lowering springs, but kinda low on the front), When all of the sudden a will hole appears. Cannot dodge it, and I hit it! This makes me lose my hose, goes from the Compressor to the Drier. Apparently there is two OE numbers, 8E0260707AN and 8E0260707AT. I know I need the 8E0260707AN, but can't find it cheap. The other one, 8E0260707AT, seems to be A LOT easy to find. So my question is, does it makes a difference on the hoses? Would I be able to use 8E0260707AT instead of 8E0260707AN? What is different, The pressure? both seem pretty similar.

I would truly appreciate if someone can help me, because is really hot here and i need my A/C :( :( :(

Call your dealership and run the part numbers by them. They look like the same exact part, guessing the "AT" part is a revised version of the "AN" part so both should work. The are both ridiculously priced(~$330) so I'd look for one at the junkyard honestly.

Thanks! I appreciate that sir! I will call the dealer and see what is up with that! I found them on ebay for a lot less than ecs tuning. I love ecs tuning, but i really dont want to spend much more money on this, as i am trying to get an B8 A4 or an A5 :D

just a FYI, there are different parts depending on the MY; I went to replace the line on my 02 with one from an 04, and while the compressor end fit, the other end did not. I ended up just having my mine rebuilt for $40 locally

Rebuilt? Did not know that was possible. I punctured mine on a low curb. Is that kind of damage within the rebuildable spectrum?

I'd assume so, sounds like the kind of thing that could easily be welded. Mine was a leaky seal, they completely rebuilt the line and pressure tested it.
