Instead of starting a new thread all the time for this or that (or bombing the wrong thread because I'm excited), I'm going to keep everything in here moving forward.

I've done the painted reflectors, 5 point ALP install, max360 and redline radar depending on where I'm driving, akrapovic exhaust and APR stage 1 tune so far.

Calipers got painted this week:

Gloss black HRE P104 arrived at work an hour ago:

Still planning to go APR stage 2 with downpipes and then run it for the first time.

Will update with wheels mounted tonight... I'm about to go drop the wheels off now. Hopefully it all works out as planned.

Went out on a limb a little bit with this and second guessed a little bit. Some may remember when I was considering even getting a noggy blue car-- it's good to know I'm not some weirdo with horrible taste. Relieved that it all turned out!

Living the super stretched life for a little bit on the stock 275 contis. Don't hate it but it's a little silly. Hence no side pics! Didn't want the 285 p zeros they had in stock and they confirmed they can get me PSS by mid April so I ordered those. I can deal with this for a bit.

Only exhaust video I have is this from when I first got it. I'll be getting some more stuff soon. And tons of pics! They want to do all sorts of official shoots and have me at some event with some HRE officials so I'm excited about that. We'll see... I just want to drive it now.

Saw the car on HRE's Instagram page. Beautiful. Still think you should pick one color (either black or silver) for the front and back rings, but that's nitpicking at this point. Well done. Exhaust sounds lovely!

Nice job man. What offset are you running? That wheel size may have to stretch depending on your offset. ET30 requires a slight stretch to not rub. I was having ET28 done in 21x10.5 but am changing it to ET30 after learning the more aggressive offset has rubs on 275 PZeros.

Anyone have wheel suggestions for a 2012 Golf R? White with Black wrapped roof... might be picking one up here to beat around with. Tuned and 6 speed and wanting to drive the tail of the dragon. :)
Then Ill give it to my daughter in a year when she gets her license.

Yeah not a bad idea there... I'd have to check some styles. Vossen VFS-1s look pretty good on the Golf. Not crazy expensive either.

Here's the thing: they use Magnum Collision who is the best in town so you already know there. I called them myself and they said it would be like four weeks before they could take my car in. Butler called them up and picked up my car two hours later to drop off there.
So you're going to pay a bit for the VIP treatment... ask for Carson at Butler (Marietta), tell him Tony (the roof guy.. ha) sent you. He just did some Corvette shoes for us yesterday and also trying to get our fleet account.
I paid $750, but it was extra to stencil paint the RS on the calipers instead of having to use stickers. I called around and $500 seemed to be the normal and no one would do the stencil. I'd much rather have it be done perfectly and didn't mind Butler making a few bucks on it too. Really like those guys!

Took my car to Red's for a full paint correction and Cquartz finest nano coating. This guy is amazing, can't believe how much passion he has for detailing. If you're in Atlanta, you need to check him out...
Front of hood paint corrected, rear not...
Said he'll have everything done Saturday afternoon in time to stash it in the garage and roll out to Caffeine and Exotics with Butler Tire and HRE Sunday morning.
