    B6 Avant Wrap Photos

    Hey all,

sharing some photos of the wrap job I completed this weekend. The color is a gold orange pearlescent Avery Dennison SW900 wrap. Great material to work with, with only problem being it ripping in two areas while wrapping, even under normal pulling that we did on other parts of the car. This was the only setback.

I could use some feedback on wrapping the handles and door moulding. The rear lower bumper will actually be removed as it doesn't match with the side skirts and front bumper.

Car was washed with soap and water, then grills/lights/moulding removed, and those areas cleaned. We finished prep with denatured alcohol.

This was the car a few months ago:

Right before she went in for the treatment:

    And final photos:

    Thanks for looking!

Wow. That looks awesome! I've been contemplating wrapping my 3.0. I just need to befriend someone who has done it before. Wanna help? lol. I'll provide beers and food. But seriously, that color is awesome. I like the orange/black combo thats going on with the roof (plus door handles still).

I probably would! It's really not as daunting as people make it out to be. You do need gobs of patience, but not a lot of skill really. The material is made for wrapping cars, so it has lots of give.

Looks awesome man, love the color. The door handles are actually extremely easy once you pop them out. Really the only good option. It seems like a lot of work, but it's the small details that completes a good wrap job.

Work looks good but I just don't get the color. Maybe because its not finished, but it just doesn't seem to fit. Either way nice job with the wrap.

I just bought an avant and have a few ideas for it. Any clue how much it would cost to wrap just the roof? Looks good BTW

Since the roof is so long and large, around $75 maybe? Assuming a 5'x7' roll.
