    Rear light warning signal !!

    I just bought a new a4 (04 sedan) to replace my 02 sedan since she's dead :(.

So the car is in great shape, but all the rear light signal are flashing when i start the car. Even if they are all working perfectly. I thought that it might be the aftermarket hid ground thing, so i did already grounded the driver light directly on the frame + located the ballast at stock location, under the headlights.

The brake light signal + esp disapeared but the rear brake light/plate light/rear flasher's/rearfog light warning are still beeping.

Is there anybody who experienced this issue before ? I searched on the forum and internet and could find an answer.

Also, the car trunk look like the last owner as been bump, (bumper not even damaged but i can still see some ply on the trunk frame). He told me that it might have been the previous but he never had any other problem but the signal thing.

I believe there is a ground connection in the left side luggage compartment that those lights use. If it has been in an accident that ground may be damaged causing resistance/light out warning. I am not near my Bentley to show you the location. I am sure others will chime in. Was the rear end damage on the drivers side?

Sorry for the crappy pic as I have the paper Bentley. Point 50 is the ground termination for the rear left brake light and license plate. Check the ground and wiring.

    Update:

Wasnt the ground, everything is perfect down there, the only damaged part by the previous owner cannot affect any wire, everything look rly clean..

Next step, i think i might have to check the wires going into the trunk and close to the lights, maybe im grounded somewhere else -_-
