Painting S3 grille like Black Optic

Hey guys

New member here. I recently ordered a Sepang S3 with performance package, super sport seats, B&O stereo, and LED lights. I really like the look of the black optics package but the wheels don't do it for me and that's why I went with the regular performance package. What are you guys doing or suggest doing to paint the stock grille gloss black?

I did 3m matte black vinyl over my chrome trim. Great option as it last 3 years or more and is removable

That does look good! Im looking to do the entire grille black just like the black optic grille. I don't think you could wrap the whole thing though...maybe??

take it off and spray it. Autodip makes a gloss black sprayable rubber coating. I think a mixture of matte black and gloss black would look cool.

Couldn't you must buy an OEM A3 grill? Thought those are all black.

Or get an RS-style grille in black. Roughly $250. I wasn't crazy about the horizontal slat look.

Also, to minimize some of the aluminum look, I had my window trim vinyl wrapped in black gloss. Looks great.
