A6 Prestige seats vs S6 compfort seats

Starting to look at getting out of my 2012 A6 Prestige 3.0t (ARP Stg 2, H&R coilovers, HRE Wheels) and into a 13 or 14 S6

Been waiting a while and no S6 in my immediate area to take a look at in person, so I thought I would try to get some clarifications from the good folks here

The seats in my current A6 are ok, never been my favorite, and from pics the comfort seat option in the S6 look about the same. Besides the massage part, are the S6 comfort seats any better than my A6 seats?

    Other couple clarifications...

All the standard options in my 2012 A6 Prestige should also be standard in the S6 correct? The only options I cared about specifically when I was looking for my A6 were sport package, black headliner, and Full LED headlights. So compared at finding an S6 of the same level, the only one of those that would be an option on the S6 would be the black headliner? No sports package option on the S6 and full LED's were standard?

    Thanks!

I don't believe LEDs were standard. I seem to recall finding a bunch of S6's when I was looking that did not have LEDs. I believe it was a stand-alone option at least on '13's. Black headliner was a free option. No sports package - came standard with the air suspension.

Thanks, I will at that closer on the LED's.

See you had a A6 3.0t previously, how have you enjoyed the S6 in comparison? I recently got rid of my extra "fun" car and now I am finding the 3.0t a bit boring even with Stg 2. If I got an S6 it would get tuned as well

The performance, even when stock, exceeds that of my 3.0t A6 and my B8 S4 by a long shot. I had the sports package on my A6 and the stock suspension on the S6 feels better, but I'm not handling guru. For two cars that should be very similar, the S6 feels like a miles better car to me. The combination of handling and power are hard to beat. I have the APR tune. Nuts. Added an exhaust - power and sound equals even more nuts. Don't have a single regret at making the change. In fact, my only regret is that I didn't just wait to snag a S6 instead of buying the A6 and trading it in a year later. Power is a drug though. Although I still find the S6 with tune to be ridiculously fast, I keep looking at E63 Wagons and used S8's and RS7's. If the right deal came along, I might actually consider making the jump, but that would just be to satisfy the habit. This car or a face-lift version could easily be my daily for the next 10 years.

I had a '14 Prestige A6 TDI. The comfort seats in the S6 are way different. More adjustments are possible (bolsters, etc) and just generally more comfortable including the back seats.

They also look much better in my opinion. Just a better finish and feel to them.

The comfort seats are the same as the seats in the S8 ? or close to it ??, you can have the massage feature and also the cooling seat feature - which is epic in summer.

Sports seats are all good but I would probably go the comfort seats next time if i had the option. When I was test driving an S8 I could manage to get the comfort seats well dialed in with side support etc

Comfort seats in the S6 are close to the seats in the S6, but the S8 goes further with additional adjustments like the headrest can essentially cup your head.

Oh and you can have a custom interior on the S8 which you cannot on the S6 when you choose comfort seats or so I was told.

Can someone please post a picture of the massage functions through mmi on the audi s6? Id appreciate it. And also the types of seat adjustments that are available on these comfort seats.
I really like the look of the sport seats, but am very much drawn to the ventilated and massage comfort seats. I do prefer that option with the red leather sport seats and reddish carbon fiber to the standard interior audi s6 options. But, then i forego the comfort vent and msg feature.
