Spring specials are live on many GIAC performance software calibrations!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Spring has arrived, and to celebrate, we’re offering great deals on many of the latest GIAC performance software calibrations! GIAC Spring specials begin March 17th, 2016 and continue through April 30th, 2016 for applicable Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche models. If you have any questions regarding specials on a particular model or calibration, please do not hesitate to ask. Spring forward with more power and extra savings!

The promotion includes 10% off MSRP* for a 91 or 93 octane performance flash on all Volkswagen, Audi and some Porsche models. A la carte switching products** (not already packaged with pump software) can be purchased at 20% off MSRP.

All of GIAC's software offerings for VW/Audi are installed via OBD2 port flash methods, except for the Audi R8 V10 and TTRS 2.5T. Most Porsche cars can be OBD flashed with the exception of 997.1TT (engine and transmission), 997.2 3.8L GT3/GT3RS and Boxster /Cayman 2.9L calibrations, which must be bench flashed.

The attached flyers include most US makes and models. International customers, please contact your local GIAC distributor for specials on GIAC products in your market. One is for Porsche cars while the other covers VAG platforms. Some models included in the promotion are not specifically listed there. Please contact GIAC for any pricing confusion.

GIAC’s software switching is the quickest, most seamless program switching option available for VWs and Audis on the market. Users can switch programs on the fly with a single push of a button, and without the need to cycle their ignition. Fully loaded offerings include a GIAC Flashloader Handheld Program Switcher and all available switching modes (unless otherwise noted):[/B]

Available Options in addition to 91/93 octane performance modes:

    • “Stock” mode: reverts vehicle to stock performance levels
    • 100 octane performance: higher performance calibrated for 100 octane. Can be used with 50/50 water meth on some models
    • Valet: Zero boost & lazy throttle response make the car more of a burden than a joy to drive.

    Simos 8.4 Stage 1, 93 & 100 octane 6MT:

    Simos 8.5x Stage 1, 91 octane 6MT:

    * Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Pricing. Actual retail pricing may vary.

** FHH Switcher options may include Stock, Pump (91/93 octane performance), Race (100 octane), Kill (anti-theft feature), Valet (reduced power), & Privacy Firewall (PIN security for FHH which locks out other FHH switchers. Pricing includes only currently available options for each platform or model.

......very much more difficult.. it's about 35% more pricey .. then you add taxes which is between 10-15% depending on the province. so the price we see in usd is about 40% more.

I second that! At least for Alberta that tax is only 5%.

Upwards of $1700CAD or more for stage1 and close to 5K for stage2 with a TCU is a little nuts.
