Track Day coming up and a couple Q's....

What's the best approach with my APR 3.x Stage II and DSG Tune?

Launch control is set for either 3000 or 3500, I forget. I remember them not making any real changes there as I am not an avid user. It's whatever stock is set for.

Should I use LC or not ? I'm not sure if the DSG Shifts faster when I use it or what's really the best way to maximize it's tune when at the track?

1/4 track, or circuit?

1/4 mile you prolly want to go with LC as you are only racing against the clock.

Circuit, why bother with LC, no siognificant benefit.

keep your engine cooled properly, and if it's a circuit, consider the last time your got your brakes and fluid done.

Thanks! Sorry, I should have mentioned, quarter mile track. Circuit runs will be later in the year for me if I have the time and ability to commit to prepping the car.

for the quarter mile, I would use LC, again, you are not racing anyone except yourself and the clock, so no real reason to want to FLY off the line and get the best reaction time, although that part is also very fun, so maybe try both (LC and No LC)

other than that, don't be a track day fool, no burnouts on AWD cars, etc, and mind your manners. It's a lot of standing around and waiting, but also its a ton of adrenaline and good times.
