So the age old question...coupe (cabrio) vs sedan vs sportback

I know this is a cross section of enthusiasts, but looking for comments on mostly the coupe. Is it as popular as Audi thought? To justify to bring it to North America vs the Sportback?

Straight up serious question I have been wondering as I have yet to see a single A3 cabrio here, mind you we only have 4-6 months of cabrio weather

I seen a couple Cabrio since there release... I have also seen a couple etron. Grant it, most enthusiast wanted A3/S3 on sportback, I for one love the sedan.

Ya I am 50/50 on sedan vs sportback.

Audi America just said 'no one wants a sportback, they want coupes' - I just don't see them. Mind you the Eos didn't do a whole lot here neither, see them once or twice a year driving around

The sedan actually came out looking great because they designed it as it's own thing for the US and Chinese markets, versus Audi traditionally taking a hatchback and molding it into a sedan.

That siad, the S3 cab is fucking sexy as all get out with its top down

I've always been a fan of sedans over hatches. See plenty of cabrio's here in the Bay Area.
