    2016 SQ5 APR Stage 2 Long Crank Issue?

    I have a 2016 AQ5 with an APR tune and pulley. It takes 1.5-2 seconds or so to start the car. When it's hot it's worse.

    It didn't go this when it was stock.

    I contacted APR and honestly they are not great at returning emails. Not the best customer service. It seems like they just don't care. Not cool APR. Justin emailed me back ONCE and then never again. Not cool Justin.

    I heard this happening to some VW's as well. Anyone else have this issue? It's pissing my wife and I off. Long cranks are NOT good for a cold engine.

    I can tell you that with the same setup I don't have the issue, zero difference in crank time. I'd suggest you go have it flashed back to stock and see if the problem remains, if it does then take it to e dealership and have them take a look. You also need to call APR and talk to the tech support guys about the issue. It's a much faster way to get an answer to your questions.

    No problems here either with the same setup.
    Are there any VAGCom error codes to go on?
