side mirror when reverse

So today I noticed when I shift into reverse the side mirror will tilt down but mine only tilt on the right side. the left side does nothing. Is it normal? or is it just on the right side? Has anyone noticed this?

Right side is because you have the switch on your door to the right, that is for when you PARALLEL PARK and you can see how close you are to the sidewalk. The left does NOT go down.

the left mirror won't go down automatically like the right one.

tip: if you want both mirrors to tilt down, configure a new seat position memory "slot" ,(let's say #2)
the only difference between setting 1 and 2 has to be the mirror adjustment , in #1 they are "normal" , in #2 they are both tilted down. (your seat stays at the exact same place since the 2 settings are almost identical)

just select # 2 when you want to tilt the mirrors down

I'm not sure what the owner's manual says. I'm way too lazy to read it, look for it and probably never got it.

this only happens when the side view mirror switch is set to the right mirror setting...as in, how you would adjust the right mirror. therefore if you go into reverse and your side view mirror switch is set in the middle (no mirror adjustment) or to the left mirror (left mirror adjustment), your right mirror will not tilt down. Make sense?
