This also goes to when I say things I can actually support them WITH DATA. Not being a keyboard warrior...

I have been testing the Roc-Euro intake and so far I like it.

I will be testing the APR downpipes and tune later this year too. If I get the power levels I think I will, then at the next roll race events that I will attend, the car will be completely different. Plus I learned a few things, like it is better to start in 4th gear rather that 3rd in manual mode and not auto to wait for a kickdown, since the immense torque can definitely compensate.

I don't really street race the car. I try to hit the track a few times a year to release all this energy. It is just safer.

Plus there is not much out there in real conditions that can beat the rs7. Especially of the light. It is almost impossible since very very few cars have the traction... I can literally hit the 1.70s 60ft almost everywhere. Not many cars can do that especially without preparation i.e. tires, tire pressures, racegas, good tune, etc etc...

This year I will try to attend a half mile event too... I think we can probably see near the 160 mph speeds.

Safety is my number one concern. I always wear my helmet of course, fire jacket and in many cases especially track days and autox neck brace.

Of for those who think drag racing is very safe and nothing can go wrong (yes I ve hard that too) look at the video below. This happened on sunday.

Something broke in the engine, oil or coolant or something went in the tires and the car span out...

Individual mode, everything dynamic except suspension. Suspension is in comfort mode. All TC are off.

If you cut 1.50 60ft without the suspension in comfort then be prepared for a surprise. The car should launch like on a catapult!!!

I can vouch for this. I sold a CTS-V to get into my S6. I consistently hit 160s in the half mile. However, on the street it was stupid, I had no traction unless we were doing a 50-60 rolling start. The consequences of crashing, being killed, or going to jail just get too heavy at that speed.

I always wear a helmet and neck roll. If you are racing at the track, especially in the 120+ mph...it's just silly not to wear protective gear.

Sick videos , love the footage.For 1/2 mile with a stage one apr tune i think you right, we are in the range of 155mph-163mph. When i went out to our private test day for Slipstream i was in that range with really worn out tires.

Wow! I thought maybe a very high 150 but if we actually break 160 then it is unreal! I will definitely attend the slipstream events later this year. I just love your setup and organization.

Thanks man, i think with the race gas tune we will be above 160 depending on the launch. I know we will have the ability to throw some vhat at the airport so traction shouldn't be a problem. I will have some 1/2 mile numbers next week with the 93 tune and hopefully the race gas tune to tell you guys the difference.

Nice. This would be good testing grounds for a stage 2 car. Share the numbers when you get them. I would really appreciate it!

Depends on elevation of the event. You can trap from mid 150's to over 160 I am sure.

Last year at the WannaGOFast event which was about 4000ft all the cars were trapping about 6-10 miles slower then other venues. Tuned APR RS7 was in the lower to mid 150mph range.

Those are some great times. I apologize if I missed another thread but are you just running software and pump 93 octane or are you running other mods as well or any race fuel or e85? Great stuff!

It depends on the video. The car has apr stage 1 tune for most of the videos and in a few in have the roc euro intake.

It is either 93 octane or vp ms109

Will be running stage 1 APR tuned 2014 RS7 at No fly zone Midwest in Rantoul, Illinois late April. I am a little concerned about my AWE s-flo cai as I have recently heard a loss of 42 whp. Oh well, still hoping to get 160 in the half mile!
