Selling my gently user 110,xxx mile 2.0T engine

Ran into the cam follower problem, engine ran when i parked her, sounds like some of the oil passages are clogged and its not getting enough oil, full diesel status. Looking to sell the engine as is, local pickup only, 06457.

Engine will be complete sans the HPFP, will migrate to the new engine.

Known issues:
Cam is worn where the FP rubbed
metal in oil

TB was done when we discovered the cam follower problems, so that is all brand new, I mean brand new, only 2 miles since this happened, thats right, TWO miles.
Great engine for someone looking for quick build.

How bad was the CF? Full blown hole?

Side note: I will be swapping my engine soon for my new one. My current engine should only need a re-ring and then be good to go. If you are interested in a built short block, let me know.

I would also be willing to provide my services in rebuilding your current engine if you wanted to go that route.

I already purchased a new 2006 engine and its waiting to go in. Had i known you could rebuild my current I would have towed it a long time ago with a fist full of dollars....

CF was gone, according to shop and the tip if the FP jammed into the cam chain.

correct just the 2 liter engine.

I think youre better off disassembling the engine and selling it for parts, its kind of a big risk to buy a complete engine with problems.....
