I saw a similar thread for Audi S3's but nothing for the A3. Curious to see what everyone is paying for their A3's (lease or finance)?

Feel free to include MSRP, options/packages, etc. Thanks!

Audi A3 Premium with 2.0T and Quattro. Also came with the season of Audi package which has the Sline body and suspension, black optic package, 19" wheels, heated seats, and some other things. The car was also equipped with a Homelink system and came with rubber mats and grocery hooks (). I beat the sales manager up about $300 floor mats and grocery hooks and finally negotiated to a price of $39K out the door (this was after the switching to Audi incentive that they gave us because of my wife's BMW, which took off $1250). In the finance office, the lady determined that the original negotiated price was high because the sales manager calculated it with higher fees (for whatever reason). So, after all the signing we actually paid $38.5K out the door.

Sounds like a steal. Is that payment after sales tax? Any idea what the MSRP and negotiated sales price was?

2.0T Quattro (Heated seats, sline, sport suspension etc.)
    1200 total out of pocket
    39 month lease
    12k per year
    $320 per month(taxes rolled in)

If I purchased the car the discount wouldve been around 16.5% off of msrp. The msrp of the car was $38,200.

Deals are definitely out there to be had, you just have to negotiate properly.

Also, I went right at the end of the month, so that probably helped.

Definitely going to have to figure out how to do this next time. I'm definitely not posting mine, because I feel like an idiot now. I can only guess credit rating and the negotiating were huge in your #'s.

Also, with my deal, loyalty($750) and the season of Audi ($1250) incentives helped a lot with the steep discount.

Yeah, I also messed up the negotiation of my previous lease and learned from my mistake. What I do now is I check the inventory of all dealers within a 300 mile radius. I see what cars they have in stock on their website and what interests me and email all the dealers with a very aggressive price. I let them know I am a serious buyer with tier A credit and after negotiating back and forth with a few dealers I choose the lowest offer of the bunch. To keep it organized I put all the info into an excel spreadsheet.

When I went to my local dealer they gave me crazy prices like 450 per month with 2k down. So you just have to be smart and not let emotions get in the way of negotiations.

And remember always aim for a big discount because the worst they can say is no

    Hope this helps

    Quite a bit, actually!

My credit definitely played a huge role. In about four months, that will be getting worked on very aggressively though.

    Thanks for the input!!
