My Emmanuele Design Experience - Glacier White 2016

    So here is my story..
My car currently has 5000 miles on it. I was itching to mod the car as soon as I drove it off the lot. I decided to put a few thousand miles on it, and stress the car enough to ensure that nothing faulty would break or get damaged before I decided to start changing parts. Something else really holding me back, has been the release of a tune for the later 2016 models. After some google, and forum research, I decided to wait for Unitronic and their UniConnect unit, but in the mean time I decided it was time to start working on the requirements.

After a long and tedious forum research, I decided to go with Thomas from Emmanuele Design. After speaking and dealing with him, I was sure I had made the right decision. His customer service, loyalty, and knowledge on the subject made him surpass any of his competitors, especially after making me feel comfortable and not a customer, but a friend. So road trip it is. Left Tucson, Arizona and headed to Anaheim, California to get the work done!

Originally, I had decided t<script id="gpt-impl-0.3824724320730093" src="http://partner.googleadservices.com/gpt/pubads_impl_82.js"></script>o do Catless Downpipe and Intercooler. After the release of Injen Intake, I found a supplier that gave me a very low price on one, so I decided to make the purchase, even though it was backordered. Thomas decides to release his Lowering Spring kit, darn it.. What the hell, I decided to do that too. Especially with his state of the art shop and alignment done in house, it was a no brainer. Thomas! Add the springs I said. The boss is in a different area code anyway...

Currently waiting to be installed (Road trip numba 2, April 1st)
    1. Bull-X Catless DP with Fouler
    2. Injen Intake

Currently Installed (Road trip numba 1):
    1. HG Intercooler
    2. Emmanuele Lowering Springs and alignment

    Already installed:
    1. Emmanuele Video in Motion (VIM) - Worked like a charm.
    2. ECS Flush Kit.
    3. VCDS Mods (no blink, taillight as DRL, comfort blink, etc).

I love how the car feels with the lowering springs on Mag Ride. Yes, the car feels a little stiffer and bouncier, especially on Dynamic mode. But this is expected, and quite honestly, its barely noticeable. Cornering has improved significantly, and I think these springs complement the Dynamic mode on the car to a "T." This is how Audi should've made the car in the beginning. Excellent decision of my part. The car looks awesome and its the perfect drop. There is absolutely no rubbing, and I have been testing their limits. With the intercooler, I know there are not huge gains in HP/TQ, but I did feel a difference in performance, car seems to pull quicker and be more responsive. So far so good..

Car stock in the 1/4 mile performed quite well, considering the 3079' elevation here in Tucson, Az. January 23rd, I found myself at the track, testing the car. I will test various hardware changes, just because I like to see variation in performance and what a better way to do this, than taking the car to the track and have it perform. Note: I am aware of climate changes. But this is how I like to do things. It gives me a better understanding of the car performance.

    Stock (1/23/2016) --

Lets not forget that California I-10 Traffic and its 3 hour delay.

    Conclusion,
If you have the ability to visit Thomas at his shop, I highly recommend it. Other than being fun, he is by far the best Vendor I have ever dealt with. I tend to do most of the work on cars myself, but being that I am new to Audi, and the comfort I felt with Thomas, I decided to let the expert handle the situation.

I will continue to work with him, and more than certainly, I will recommend him and his products not only because I know him, but because his products are high quality and I can attest to that.

Also had my springs and spacers installed at Thomas's shop. He is a very well rounded cool person indeed, as well as the rest of the crew at Emmanuelle Design.
