UPDATE/EDIT:

I was sent a wrong part, wanted to return it, learned of a restocking fee + shipping and handling, and I refused to pay for a mistake that was on their end.

Initially, it didn't seem this was going to be rectified, but the fees have since been waived, and alternate options provided.

All is now well.

Damn.. Will think twice about ordering from them.

I'd try calling again and speaking with a manager, hopefully get better results/service. If you do call please update the thread with info.

I apologize that you got a product that does not fit your vehicle. We do outline our return policy and restocking fee in our terms and conditions. I can certainly waive the restocking fee for you in a situation like this. I will also be able to give you the 2.7T damper for the same price as the one you ordered which is considerable less. Please send me an email at [email protected] and I will get this taken care of.

Ugh.... I absolutely will stay away from them knowing they charge restock fee's. A good way to ensure every purchase (returned or not) puts money in their pockets.

Wish I was offered a similar resolution when I encountered a problem with parts not fitting correctly over the summer. Sent videos in of me following instructions to the T. Still, the blame was put on me in the end. All I wanted was my money back, or at least some parts that fit - I wouldn't use store credit because there's literally nothing else that I wanted. My LED license plate lights are the most expensive paper weights I've ever bought.

Update:

I received a polite phone call from USP, and have since resolved this issue. The restock fee will be waived, and all is well.

I clearly jumped the gun on harsh words, but I was about to flip my sh*t, as my post probably reflects.
