Audi’s high-performance RS models are an ideal match for the expertly styled and beautifully engineered Akrapovič Evolution exhaust systems.
The Evolution gives more power, higher torque, decreases the weight, and delivers an unmistakable Akrapovič sound—which has a deep sound at lower revs and a ‘popping’ sound as things speed up when the throttle is lifted.
This titanium exhaust system has cast collectors and three mufflers, with the central one featuring an x-piece inside, which increase power and improve its sound. The valves of the system are designed to open and close in line with the RS’ standard electronics, and the whole system has carbon-fibre tailpipes to show off the exquisite finish of the Akrapovič exhaust.

Its easy-to-fit instructions are included, and with this cat-back performance exhaust system—which means that the stock catalytic converters remain in place—there’s no need to remap the ECU (it’s simply a plug-and play system).

The Akrapovic Exhaust system is seriously a thing of beauty, we have done countless of these on several RS7's and each one sounds better than the previous. The tips look quite neat as well and the best part is that it offers a completely UNIQUE tone to the RS7 unlike any of the other systems that are out there available now.

We ended up doing the Akrapovic tips in gloss on his car and it came out fantastic. Now topped off with a set of Vossen VPS Wheels, KW HAS suspension, GIAC Software Upgrade and AWE Tuning Intake. Stay tuned for a full thread on this car soon!

Correct, that was me. I had the system on my car but just left the stock finishers in place. I had the tips of the Akrapovic mufflers coated in matte black so they wouldn't stand out inside the stock finishers. Worked just fine.

The systems are not identical, no. Similar but the mounting is slightly different between the two systems.

Maaaaaaaaannnn... just had my downpipes installed, and, along with this Akrapovic exhaust, it sounds absolutely insane!! I'll try to get some decent quality audio, but my first attempt did it absolutely no justice on the iphone.

Typically the install is about 2-2.5 hours including installing the tips as well :)

My brother just bought a 2018 RS7 Performance with Akrapovic exhaust. He doesnt drive fast but would like car to sound better by keeping valves open all the time. Can this system be kept open like on other Audi's?

Should be able to. The AWE Tuning Switchpath Remote should certainly be tied in. We have done it on the S6/S7 however we have not done it on an RS7 however it should work without a problem! if you would like to give it a try let us know and we can ship one out, and if it works great, if not we can sort something out :)

i definitely enjoy my Akrapovic, but running the APR Dp's took some custom fab work to make it fit right...had to chop my first resonator (but all fittings are slip fit now so i am a-ok.

tell him to set up the "individual" setting so that it is always open as it is in Dynamic.....that or if he wishes to make it louder....cut the first resonator out and add the APR Downpipes. ;) definitely an intimidating sound. ;)
