In TAG's defence I know those emblems are a rip off to begin with from Audi and they use OEM emblems.

Yea i have no doubt Audi overcharges their emblems but this causes a cascade of overpriced craziness. Realistically this is super overpriced. Just to have some black emblems, would you pay $760 for a full set? Not their fault at all just super expensive.

Guys I completely understand the pricing frustration here. However it all falls under the reasoning mentioned above. These are 100% OEM badges that START at $75.00 a piece from Audi. Furthermore, we professionally prep and paint these. And as an option we add the red back to the flag portions. As you can imagine this is all very labor intensive, and realistically priced very fairly. Last but not least we offer a warranty with these, and all of our products. We have sold countless numbers of these packages for all models, and ship them daily believe it or not! Give me a shout with any questions!

Totally understandable. The badges from Audi are stupid expensive to begin with. These products are probably more aimed towards show cars and companies that can purchase lots of parts as a marketing write-off, anyway .

no hard feelings, and way to take criticism like a champ!

then i realized what you were referencing. LOL that other thread... talk about an over reaction, sheesh haha. as a business owner, i know you can't please everyone.

as a consumer, i have no problem with a product failing or having issues as long as the customer service is on point - make sure i'm informed, taken care of, and don't start by blaming every other part i have haha. i suppose this is my defense since i didn't post it in the other thread.

haha he still never clarified if he was drilling OEM rotors or not... because i know for a fact he isn't lol. he just won't say so, because then he has no leg to stand on when comparing to OEM prices.

the worst part is, steel isn't all the same. so yeah, you can get away making super cheap rotors for $50 a pop if you use crap steel. womp womp.

lol right?? he does a very good job with marketing. having a vendor account on Audizine is a very powerful thing, direct access to a lot of consumers... that's the only way I have been able to explain it.

one example of solid marketing... is they are "built to order"... "fully custom"... orrrr in other words, you have to wait for your rotors, and he doesn't have to stock any. smart businessman!

I think $760 is expensive and i can't afford it but no one else is offering what they are and to have a truly OEM option like add value. If I dropped $70K on an SQ5 I don't think i'd have a problem spending another $760 on OEM black badges.

I usually try to avoid posting in these kinds of threads (ie. brake rotors), but I just had an interesting thought...
I already have these badges. I have a sand-blaster (if needed). I can paint, dip, blue steel, and even anodize.
So. . .think I'll just pay myself $760 for a day's worth of work. Yeah me!

I've thought about getting a $20 pair from ebay. The dealer price is a little hard to swallow.

So true. Or the type face isn't perfect... Seen that too. Or there's a small nick in it here or there. Paint isn't perfectly filling the red rectangle.

If you pulled your old badges off, you'll never get them glued back on properly. The proper way to do it yourself would be to purchase the badges new from the dealer and paint those. If you price that out, these aren't that much more and they're professionally painted. You won't have to worry about how to prep the chrome to try and get the paint to stick, or try to lay a decent coat of gloss black on the smaller badges without imperfections, or worry about messing up expensive badges.

I can certainly understand the pricing, and see the value in them. Just ordered a set, patiently waiting for them to get in to see how awesome they look in person!

You won't have to worry about how to prep the chrome to try and get the paint to stick, or try to lay a decent coat of gloss black on the smaller badges without imperfections, or worry about messing up expensive badges.

I can certainly understand the pricing, and see the value in them. Just ordered a set, patiently waiting for them to get in to see how awesome they look in person!
all the above is spot on. please post pictures - looking forward to it.

I have to disagree. My clear bra installer removed my Supercharged badges to install the Xpel and replaced them spot on. Couldn't tell they were ever removed.

But if you had it side by side with where they were, might not be perfectly spot on. that's all

I'd bet a paycheck on it. He basically creates a template of the original location with measurements before removing them. Not sure how others do it but I'd bet money on my guy. Not trying to turn this into another AR thread just saying that it is possible to do. If it were me doing it then yeah, they'd be all f'ed up!

If this kit were cheaper I'd be all over this. Those satin badges are beautiful!
