Hi I'm a new member and I just bought a 2001 audi 2.8q. Upon looking at the car I see the oil pressure sending unit isn't connected and don't see any wires in the area so I was wondering if anyone knew where to look to find this connect.

I know I'm the 1.8t the sensor is in the oil filter housing. I'm not sure about the 2.8 but I would guess it's around there for you too.

Is the connector broken off the harness and still connected to the sensor?

So I found a wire with a connector up front but I think it's being ran the wrong way because it doesn't reach behind the oil filter housing does anyone have any idea to what I have going on here?
