Hey guys, so i had a Forge DV in my old GTI and it was fun at the time but personally I (my wife...and my dog, ha) careless for the noise it produced. I know, sad right? Any ways, is there a diverter valve that works as it should yet is minimal in sound? maybe even silent? does such a thing exist? cheers getting old sorta sucks

I would think the stock DV or even the DV+ mentioned above would be the quietest options. I installed the DV+ and it's pretty quiet. I've grown rather fond of the soft recirculating sound our DVs make.

Isn't our OEM DV the best for performance too. I don't see how a Forge DV provides any performance gains.

The revised version of our OEM DV works fine. I added the DV+ and have a little bit more turbo noise and maybe some more responciveness. I'd go with just the OEM revised one though if I needed a replacement for a failure.

My DV+ is basically silent. If I roll down my windows and listen carefully at lower speeds, I can hear an almost imperceptible sound when I shift.

Auditdork, you suggesting i buy this now, or as a back up? I just made the DV + purchase for now. https://www.europaparts.com/diverter...6h145710d.html

thanks man, I went with the DV +. Also, would a drop in Afe or K&N filter with TIP help with the turbo delay? I think that's my next step here. then perhaps twin turbo.
