A4 B8 Xenon LED headlights lens with the halogen lens?!

So, I want to replace my headlight lens when i paint the front end. And i was thinking to buy some cheap new aftermarket headlights, and take their lens and swap with my Xenon LED headlights lens. And while at it do the J-code mod.

What ya'll think? Are the lens the same? Do-able? Good idea or what? lol

I would imagine the OEM lens would be the same for both HID and halogen, but you might be taking a risk with aftermarket. I would find OEM if possible.

yes, the plastic clear cover. or housing.
