Water Soaking Back Passenger Seat Floor?

A couple weeks ago I notice my car smelling a bit fowl inside. Upon further examination, I noticed water was getting in. The back passenger seat itself was soaked as well as the back passenger seat floor!

I recently had the Sirius antenna replaced and I thought this may be the cause. Perhaps a gasket was not replaced?

I took the car to Audi and they said it was clogged sunroof drains. They cleaned all the drains and I got the car back, $500 later.

The seat seems dry now, but there is still water on the back passenger seat floor.

Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix this? I'm getting super frustrated taking the car in all the time.

Yeah, this has been a problem on the B5, B6, B7, and B8s. Try to dry up the floor and then give it a day or to to see if it comes back.

I had a similar problem with my A5 but it was the front pass, and after removing the headliner ( only way to do a good fix) it also was leaking in the driver rear. I had 1 front and rear clogged drain, and the main culprit for the leaks is the connection from the roof drain to the hose. There are 2 problems with the hoses 1 is the connector part is bonded to the hose and gets brittle over time. I used a silicone tape (self fusing) to seal all 4 connections , 2 The socket is a ball type that just pushes on to the roof drain and is not very tight, I used Panduit's (zipties) to hold them on better. You may have water under the carpet best way to dry it out is to remove seat and lower trim lift carpet to remove excess water and dry out.

    Hope this helps Dave
