The SAC/Self-Adjusting Clutch mechanism of the pressure plate has ratcheted itself all the way down. You need a new clutch disc, pressure plate, pressure plate bolts, and throw-out bearing.

Highly recommend getting a JHM lightweight flywheel and 1R clutch kit.

Looking for a canyon to carve.

Agree with JimmyBones, just installed mine and LOVE IT!!!

Might consider doing several other things while you have it out - can you twist your own wrenches?

I just did it and can tell you that it's not as complicated as you think.
you need an engine hoist, space to work and some time to dedicate.

my first pull took 8 hours single handed.
my second pull to me 2.5 hours from pulling into the garage to putting chains on the motor ready to pull it - again, single handed.
I used Joeys DIY and it was simple as can be. Elsawin gave me all the torque info I needed.
It only took a standard tool set and a few specialized tools (outlined in the DIY).
JHM provides very good instructions for their LWFW/Clutch kit to install with. As long as you go slow, take your time and follow the directions to the letter, you'll do fine.

I did full timing job and clutch job single handed.
I had 1 hour of help getting the motor back into the car.
    everything else on my own.

If you have the space, time and willingness... DO IT!
    PM with questions.

I have been thinking about it.. It would save me a lot of money because i have to get the body fixed, I got her from a friend who's a dealer so I'm putting money into parts and fixing her up.
