    Radio help PLEASE!

    Hi Everyone

I bought my car back in September '15 and it had no issues (go figure) since purchasing the car, my radio works intermittently. Really annoying, it will just cut out and back on for no reason. Someone suggested getting a new head unit so I just got a Symphony II+ with the adapter harness from euro parts. Everything went in super easy but I still don't have any sounds. The radio works fine, got the radio code form AOA and no issues except no sound.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

What harness adapter did you get?

Very possible you have wires mis-pinned in your harness adapter due to the fact that some cars have a Bose subwoofer/ Amp setup and some do not. Does your car have the BOSE badge on the speakers?
If you so I bet the harness needs a couple wires moved to run the line through the AMP instead of off the head unit. It's not terribly complicated, but I don't have the info right in front of me.
Somewhere in the Tech section or DIY there's a S2+ DIY that says which wires to move.

I do have the bose system. I figured the harness from EuroSport is ready to go...is it not? Can anyone confirm?

Since having the car I have also replace the drivers side door wiring harness. This did not solve the problem and was replaced a couple months ago.

Could this have to do with my MMI? The original unit had an old ipod adapter connected to it.
