hey guys and girls i know this sounds really stupid but here me out first before you start judging. i got my b7 2.0t quartto in December, there is not skip plate for the motor so i just got one last month and now want to install but have no clue where the bolts go and such because there is nothing to take off and replace. if anyone can help that would be great, and will also save my front bumper a little longer

Hold the new skid plate up and the pre-drilled holes will align up.

Youll also see a few hangers to the left and right sides. Its really not difficult. Im a master at finding holes though, sometimes you just need a bit of hair

The screws are all the same ( assuming you bought a plastic OEM skid plate?) Put them where you see the holes

I think the fasteners are 1/2 or 1/4 turn. Hold the skid plate up to where it goes. Then put the metal clips on the car where the holes are. Then put the fasteners through the holes into the clips.

Do what I did. Buy u clips and corresponding 1" screws, washers and rubber washers to hold the screws on the skid plate. You will need 6 of each. Fuck the expensive, flimsy belly pan hardware from Audi.
Make sure you have the hanger where the rear of the skid plate bolts to.

OP just do this... if I remember correctly there should be 2 towards the back that join up to a second smaller piece, 1 out at each side just in front of the wheels, 3 along the front just behind the bumper and another 3 that go through the bumper into the skid plate.
