    Will a supercharger from a newer A7 work on my 2010 S4?

I've got the chance to pick up a low-mileage supercharger from an A7 for a decent price. Is the supercharger from all the 3.0tfsi engines the same or are there variations through the models and years? I'm waiting to find out exactly what year its coming from, likely 2014+

Going from a charger with 110k to 10k sounds pretty good for the right price, but given I've never read anything about the tvs1320 failing. Additionally, I might go to a dual pulley setup in the future and it would be good insurance.

According to Partslink (an Audi OEM Parts program) The 2010 S4 would have had supercharger part # 06E 145 601 AN or 06E 145 601 M (not sure why the difference or what the changes are). Partslink also lists these same numbers for the 2014 A7 so it seems like the odds of it working are pretty good.

Thanks for the info! I was having trouble looking up part numbers. I found the current revision for a 2014 A7 to be 065 145 603 M on the audi website. You just wonder what the minor revisions might be.

The 2016+ A6/A7s have a slightly different engine with supercharger decoupling and a different pulley, but 2012-2015 should be fine. Expanding on that, my guess is that all of the 3.0T superchargers, except for the aforementioned C7.5 A6/A7 units, are interchangeable.

That said I see no reason to replace yours. If it ever fails (and it has NOT shown to be a failure-prone part), they are available all day on eBay with low miles for cheap- ~$700. I've seen them for as little as $300.
