So the other day I fired the car up in the morning, immediately it shut back off. I went to restart, had no problems since. Driving yesterday, just my speedometer bounced around 20mph up and down. Got home, performed the output test on the instrument cluster and speedo is fine again. Ran a scan today and it produced these faults. What do these point to? I also randomly get the steering angle sensor fault as well.

01274 - Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71) - motor that controls the recirc/fresh air flaps (behind glove box, easy to replace)
41-00 - Blocked or No Voltage

00604 - Potentiometer Positioning Motor for Air Flow Flap (G113) - This one went away for me when replacing the V71 motor^
30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent

01592 - Air Quality Sensor (G238) - This is located on the cabin air filter box in the area where the battery is. Not needed (in my opinion, still replaced it though), it is used when using the automatic recirc button
30-00 - Open or Short to Plus
Cool thanks for the tips. Hoping someone else chimes in for the others.

The Comfort CAN Bus is a twisted pair of wires, and only one of the two wires is working, thus the "Single wire Operation". There are three CAN busses that connect together at the instrument cluster, Comfort, Infotiainment, and Powertrain CAN busses. The IC translates the CAN messages between the three CAN busses.

The fault in the Comfort CAN buss needs to be located and fixed to restore normal function of the CAN buss.
