So I just put on my JHM HFC, DP with OEM sized outlets, and installed the internals on my HPFP. Thought I would try to write up a little review for you guys, seeming as though whenever I search it seems to be hard for me to find anything. Maybe me search skills are just weak :(.

First the Exhaust install. It went pretty easy and the only hard part was actually putting the hangers for the B6 S4 exhaust on, everything bolted up and went fantastic. No stuck bolts (at least none that a sawzaw couldn't take care of. The sound is a little deeper than stock and has almost no drone at all (which is what I was expecting as it is an OEM exhaust. Inside the car it is a little louder, I am not a huge fan of it but it's not unbearable like my friends 240. Standing behind the car it definitely has a different sound. A German/Italian hybrid sound is the best that I can explain it, it purrs but also has that higher Italian sound when you get on it. Tough to explain to be honest maybe I'll need to nab my friends camera and put up some sound clips.

Second is the HPFP fuel pump install. Smooth to get it out, and to remove the internals, it's pretty straight forward. I ran into some complications due to running with the roller follower conversion, but I am hoping that I got the nut tight enough on the inside of the fuel pump to not run into any issues (the larger spring that I need to run wouldn't let a 18mm deep well get over it). After a day of running it still runs fine so we will see.

Finally the performance change. I know a lot of people like to see numbers here, but I don't have any! If enough people are interested I will get it dyno'd once I get reflashed to JHM's HPFP file. Lower RPM's seem much fuller power band wise, it may be just a placebo effect from installing new parts though. Top end there is definitely a difference, normally around 80 mph it seemed like my power would just drop off, but now it wants to pull and pull (only on a closed of course ;)). The exhaust helped the turbo a little, before I would only be able to hit maybe 20 PSI on a good day, right after install I was peaking 22 consistently. Plus I can actually hear my turbo spool now which is always a good effect.
