    resonator removal

Looking to make a custom exhaust and i know a lot of people delete one of the two resonators. I was looking to cut out the first one (closet to the downpipe) and then replacing the second resonator with a magnaflow and have it run down to 2 dual magnaflow mufflers for the quad tip look. Would this work? does it matter if i delete the first or the second resonator?
    Thanks.

I would imagine with a 6MT you won't get the drone from pulling the first resonator out. However, I would if given the choice again would have certainly replaced the last resonator with a large stainless steel magnaflow muffler. Look at the pics on my build thread of the system.

There was a guy on here years ago who built up a very low cost system with Magnaflow 17" exhaust cans and custom piping for around >$500? I can't find the thread, but he was able to get all the parts off ebay/amazon and then have the muffler shop weld it up.

I would be leery of removing the front resonator as it does have impact in the cabin.

OP you already have a thread regarding your proposed exhaust. why not post this question in that thread rather than create a new one?
