going drag racing

Never been drag racing ever so should be fun . hoping launch control doesnt blow something up but we will see

mods in sig - running e85 on k04's
i'd like to get into the 11's but probably wont , whats your guys guess

How well can you launch and shift? That's what will determine your ET. Your trap will probably be 118-123mph depending on your tune/mods (K04s + e85)

The event is today. I'll get some gopro action. It's an import face off event .

Well the tune hade launch control and no lift shifting. As to his I can shift , don't know no one races me and when i do I usually pull away hard and let off because it's over already lol.

Good luck! I pulled a little better times but not letting my launch controll build too much boost. So at the second to last light i went wot and let off clutch on the last light

With a good launch you'll do a high eleven. I've been chasing 11's, but my launches are terrible. Similar mods, but you're a little higher hp. Get that launch down and you are there.

Just crazy how jhm got a stock turbo car to 12.5 or w.e bit alot of people cant break 11s with k04s

First run was 13.3 at 115mph had a/c on and outer part of shift knob pulled off lol

Stock shift knob always falls apart when drag racing. You need a proper single piece one or epoxy the stocker

Seeing the recent stage 3 times make me feel like im a good driver for sure ;) ms109 on k03s i pulled a 13.3 at 104. Stock intercoolers. No w/m stock shifter and a holebunch of backlash in the rear dif. Oh ya and was 85 out the day i went

12.5 at 115.5mph . My dyno was at 25psi on k04'a and e85 I'm running today at 19 psi . Clutch is holding good so far. I swapped in a 6 puck disc on Friday night for today. Launched it 10 times so far . Working good. I did 3 12.5 back to back

Sure is fun though! How did you like your first trip to strip. Had a blast the couple times I went.

Best I ran was 12.4 @ 117 on rs6r. Dyno was similar to you, 440hp/475tq on pump 91.

Your 1.7 60ft are solid enough. The 2.+ obviously held you back. I missed it maybe, but why was boost dialed back to 19 psi vs your 25 when dynoed?

Didnt want to break anything lol. I was at 512tq on the Dyno. Didn't want to blow the motor on the track :)

This was also my first time launching the car and using no lift shift ( which I like )

Did you go with any others that have been to the strip before. First time I went alone and it wasnt as fun. Next time met a fellow enthusiast experienced at the track and was much more fun and good to have input and encouragement.

No they didn't run. They came with me . We put the s4 on a trailer and 2 friends were in a 2013 sti but his clutch can't hold after the Cobb flex fuel tune he had done so he just watched as well. It was all trial and error. Was super fun though really nervous on the first few passes then I started using launch control for a few passes. Then started using. On lift shift which is awesome once you really get the hang of it and don't pull the shift knob off lol. All in all I'll be doing this again but probably not till later this year as its getting hot already here in az. Also will probably get some new downpipestuff with no cats. Might help a bit
