Getting neither. Most likely will get RS7 lol soon hopefully.

Cadillac however can't be compared with German quality.

Very nice. Very fast car. What I don't like however is the 20+ thousand needed for such times... turbos, intakes, cooling, tires, etc etc...

Can't wait to see what rs7s will do with just turbos and maybe meth injection tin for cooling!

I think tune on E63s goes in 10s as well.

They are also AWD but you are right about turbos and all.

When I'll get RS7 or E63s -only thing I think i'll get, would be tune/downpipes -that's it and exhaust if I can get it through factory in Canada. So far that option is only for Americans.

i think at this point, most of the 4matic systems are disengaged. GT-Rs also have AWD disengaged for the strip

For the Benz I don't think so. For the gtr yes and no. Some cars disengage the front for burnout but they launch awd...

The RWD Benz are a bitch to launch... on Wednesday I was running with two highly modified cls 63 rwd... decent traps in the 127 mph range but could not launch for shit... and the one for sure was running MT et streets. ..

Awd is the only way to go for these heavy cars... even bmw will change with their next update...

there's a breaking point where the sheer amount of power being put down is too much of a loss to be split amongst all 4 wheels (unless it's some new setup like hybrid powertrains). But i hear you, i think up until the 800HP mark, you'll still have some advantage with an AWD start.

Need I say, the biggest problem is that they are CLS's LOL.

I'm coming up to NY next week, would love to check out the RS!

BENZ AWD doesn't disengage at all.

33% is to the front and 67% to the rear -all the time.

yes, the E63 AMG is a fixed split drive setup. i wish audi would have done the same with the RS7.

Dude. Talk about the height of hypocrisy. Your dumb ass has RUINED the APR thread about the pending release of the 4.0 T downpipes. You keep rambling on and on, baiting those of us interested in the downpipes to click on the thread when we see there's been a new post. Clearly you either have a screw loose or you're sub-90 IQ, because you're arguing with an APR representative about the efficacy of their products. And many of us remember well your trolling posts about your fictitious relationship with someone at the Audi factory who told you about the matrix headlights you were going to get on the RS7 you never got.

I'm waiting for Fairbird to chime in! He traded his Stage 2 or 3 (RS7 turbos, etc) on his S6 to the E63 AMG S and already has Stage 1 installed!

I think having a fixed split is more predictable in all situations. It also allows you to swing out the rear for some oversteer in a predictable way as well.

How do you like the current setup on your 2015 RS7 with matrix headlights?

fixed split is better distribution of power, no power loss.

Think about it, 4 ohms consistent to all 4 nodes or sporadic cycling. Sporadic cycling will clearly have more leech. same principal here.

Never thought it this way. It makes sense.

However in extreme conditions isn't it better if the power could be manipulated ?

Also, GTR has it figured out with their AWD systems yeah?

Maybe as Benz evolves -they might change something up too? This is the first they came out with AWD on AMG -so I'd presume always room for improvement. However, I think they already have torque steer via brakes or LSD in some models.
