Love the site been looking around for a few weeks. Thanks for all the great info. I've been looking for a 13-15 but it hard to find one with all the options I want.im hoping to find a CPO.

So with the warranty still in play I'm looking at just doing intake headers and exhaust. Has anyone had first hand experience with these upgrades. I've seen some say it's not with the price and even that you loose power with the headers. I wondering if this is true? One other thing has anyone considered getting a used ecu/tcu and using that for a tune then switch back when u have it serviced.

Thanks everyone for a great informative site

im pretty sure the ecu is coded to your vin and swapping them is not an option.

You'd be better off with a chipwerks box if you didn't want to tune it.

Exhaust is 95% for sound, 5% for performance... and oh does it sound so sweet.

If you are looking for a CPO, then don't tune it, or your CPO could be worthless.

My dealer installed most of the mods in my signature and I'm still CPO (with 26 track days and counting!)

Thanks guys. I'll be keeping my search going. Suck about the ecu. I was hoping for a work around. I'll research chip works

Geojoe. That's awesome. I want to do some of those mod and go to hpde events. I had a turbo prelude for about a year. It was just to unreliable. How are the pss10? Do u have the ride control ones?

Definitely not the S4. Probably the S3 a ways down the road.

My car is has been stage 2 for over 50K. I'm under an extended warranty with Audi and my dealership doesn't care about any of my mods. They actually love my car. Just make friends

The B8.5 platform is more than sorted out. The tunes out there by the big guys are pretty fool-proof. the platform is not at all anywhere near unreliable when tuned. If you want decent bump in power without much risk, just go Stage 1. When you're ready for more, go Stage 2 and if applicable, DSG Tune. Enjoy!

I getting excited to be in one of these soon. I'll prob just do I/h/e at first. Get it sounding right. Then suspension. If I can get one with the titanium wheels I won't change them. Then do the jump to stage 2 with the tcu. Seems like this is a great platform very dependable and reliable modded. Just gotta get my wife on board. She ok with ihe but not sure about the tune until warranty is up. You guys are awesome thanks for all the support.

I'd skip the headers and exhaust. If you are really interested in sound, do it last. Have you priced out headers and looked at the installation? Congrats if you can and are willing to do it yourself.

I'd suggest jumping into some suspension bits but you really don't have to go all-in unless you plan on tracking it. Power mods will get you the most bang for the buck daily. Look for one with the sport diff. It's a blast.

I have the manually controlled set. Easy to reach under and just turn the dials. Tracked them on 8 front / 7 rear last week and it was tight. Then took a road trip and set them to 5 all around for some smooth hwy miles. Very cool to have this ability and really feel the difference.

I had koni sports with ground control coilovers on my prelude and loved them. So easy to adjust since the knob was under the hood. Good to know they have enough spring rate to hold up on the track and be comfortable enough for long road trips.

I am looking for a sports diff car for sure only way I'd get one. I might hold off on the header a bit pricey. And I don't know how much install would be. Coming from the Honda crowd ihe are the first things you do lol. I just want to do the most I can with out getting into the ecu. Don't want to get flagged td1 until at least the base factory warranty is up. I do want to do some hpde events. There are 4 tracks code to me that NASA offers events.
