Mine is only at 32000 miles, so i dont belong in this thread. But for those that do post, I'm curious to know what problems/maintenance you have had to deal with? Any major failures, expensive fixes, etc? I've only had the car 3 months, but i put roughly 1700 miles on per month and would like this car to last past 100k. Thanks!!

"Last" as in remain structurally sound? Definitely.
"Last" as in not require anything beyond routine maintenance? Yeah... no.

Pressure plate/clutch
Thermostat
Control arm
Hood strut
2 Window lock button switch covers
Hood latch failed(after wreck)

in fact we use both expressions mileages and kiometrage haha
the only issue i had with the car was my heating problem aka: water pump thermostat but for a almost 120 miles car I think its realy not bad

98k on a 2010. I've owned it since 58k. No real major issues other than a small coolant leak I had when I first got the car. Turned out to be a bad oring on some tubes near the oil cooler.

Mine is at 104,963 my 2010, it's my daily driver. Just replaced power steering pump. Had a software update done for transmission jerkiness. Great car!

What type of jerkiness did it address? And do you by any chance know the name or code of the software update?

Just got me at around 35k and I've put 1k on it this month but it runs great. Nothing major done by previous owner that I know of.

2010 S4 Stage 2, DSG with 126k daily driver. Still going Strong. Had a T-Stat replaced and the Mechatronic replaced early on.

2012 with 77,000 miles. Going great so far - knock on wood (or "touch wood" depending on where you are in the world, though I think it sounds creepy). Why all the new engines? I've got CPO so if something heads south I hope it is while still covered (only 23k left).

2011 6-speed with 105k - replaced flex pipe, supercharger bypass valve, t-stat, failed bearing in center diff that sent shrapnel into the trans - necessitated a replacement of the entire diff/trans unit. All but the last under warranty. Audi did goodwill the cost of the trans (not incl labor) out of warranty, so I'm not too upset. I do have oil consumption issues with a good Blackstone oil analysis, so at some point I will have to have the PCV valve work done.

It is a lot? Compared to most cars I've had, yes. Do I mind? A bit, but it's so much nicer to drive the cost is worth it to me. Besides, compared to a Mini Cooper S my wife had, this thing is dead reliable.

Me: t stat, bank two manifold intake

Currently in the shop with a serious issue diagnosis unknown /: tech thinks it's the head gasket...

I have a Mini Cooper S as well and you are 100% correct

My S4 (32k miles) is wayyy more reliable than my Mini
