    Transmission question

On my A7 - VERY sporatically, at times when i'm accelerating, i get a quick slip that almost feels like an upshift when going through 2nd or 3rd gear.. The actual shift is clean and crisp; this occurred while i was in the gear accelerating. I actually thought it was an upshift but realized it's not since i have enabled gear display in DIS. It's the slightest hesitation..
Any idea what this is? The car shifts smoothly and pulls hard through the gears in general.
I don't recall ever experiencing with my A6. I don't believe it's thrown any codes but i want to cover my bases while im still under CPO. I did have a random misfire on cyl 5 a couple of weeks ago that threw an EPC code. Dealer said that's all it was and reset it.. Could it be related to that (a misfire), and not a tranny issue at all? I haven't confirmed if it happens only in S-mode or both.
    Thanks-

Does it look similar like this? If it does, then I guess it's normal. I have sent the car to different dealers for diagnosis and none found a problem.

I'm not sure...hard to tell from the video without seeing the gear numbers or hearing when it's shifting.
I'm concerned only because i've never felt it on my A6 3.0T with same ZF tranny. I'm starting to wonder if it's sporatic slight misfires, though you would think they would throw codes.
Problem is it might be hard for tech to reproduce, but i'll bring it up to them and see what they think..

You know, I've experienced some weirdness in shifting that so da similar to what you describe with my S6. I've read that it's normal under certain conditions, like having the car in comfort mode and your floor the gas pedal. Do some search on this forum and on Audiworld and see if you find any useful information. Can you replicate the issue every time?

Is this applicable to the 8spd ZF box or 7spd S-tronic.
I have this hesitation on pull off with my 8spd.
The reason I ask, is I am not sure it is related to the gearbox or engine.

In my case, it's 8sp ZF. Hasn't happened lately, and def no codes stored.

Thanks. Took the car to Audi today. The Workshop manager test drove the car and sure enough, the car ran perfectly.
They want the car at the next service to see if there is a software update that may help. This will be in 2700km's.
