Found this today; as well as loads of rtv running down into the runners and ports all from PO. Can't think of why he would ever do this..

On another note; the spring seems very very tight for the flapper. It's not sticking like I originally thought cause it'll snap very hard back into place(the metal flap is a death machine for finger tips now). The actuator with the plunger doesn't seem very strong comparatively.

RTV is the black gasket sealant

No; I meant post office; it's an old mail truck.

I did find a mod with someone putting a piece of carbon fiber inside; but the idea of benefit seems wrong to me as nothing will seal like that form fitting flapper. Especially this super thin sheet metal that flexes.

I guess it's all pointless anyways as the actuator plunger is shot.
