Thanks DanKing. Yea I was reading that there were multiple revisions of the vacuum pump. Seems like a common problem for leaks.

Having oil leak problems as well. At first I thought it was coming from the oil filter housing (the leak is low). Had the housing reseated but no luck. Where is the vacuum pump located?

by the back of the cylinder head. Its the part with the brake booster vacuum line is hooked up to.

If you had just the seals replaced and still is leaking the housing itself mite need to be due to warpage issue's

I replaced just the o-ring on mine and its holding up fine. Just make sure you spray some silicone on it or use some oil before reinstalling or you may pinch it

For now, I have put an order in for an ECS aluminum oil filter housing to replace the stock plastic one. I hope this should fix it. My fear is if I have to replace the actual part of the housing that the canister screws into that is attached to the block. This can be expensive and laborious.

Yes. I was referring to the whole oil filter "adapter" housing. Very rare the oil filter housing itself leaks oil unless someone has stripped it or double o ringed it by mistake
