Looking for pics of S-Line (RS6) Wheels with non-OEM color on Brilliant Black B7

Going to get mine refinished and debating whether to stick with OEM color or go with something else. Does anyone have pics? Preferably on a Black B7.

Yeah I do too, but was also thinking about going a bit darker, titanium almost. Maybe even this color:


If it was a different wheel, I'd maybe go black, but I think there is too much surface area on this wheel to go black.

That's a great color. Especially with your car already being black. I had my wheels a satin black before this and didn't care for it too much.

That's actually a gorgeous colour. I am painting my wheels this wknd and you just changed my mind completely. I was originally going to do a darker bronze, but im sold on that titanium

Mine were beat to shit after last winter, I was going to powder coat them, but wasted too much time and decided to just rattle can them last fall. Used the duplicolor metal cast red paint (sorry, not brilliant black)

I wrapped my window 3m gloss black amd my car is bb but I dont have any pictures, I sold those wheels before I could take any.

I had these same wheels on my b6 and I really liked the OEM color on brilliant black. Ill see if I can get some pics up later on.

Stock color looks great on black. It gives it a nice accent along with the silver trim IMO.

I do like the look of the black, but like LastSummer and APR_Fast said, I think the OEM color just goes better with the brilliant black paint and the brightwork.

Yep...good catch. Mine were 19s.

According to this page, the 18s were found on 99-06 A4, A6, and A8, whereas the 19s were found on RS6 and A8:

Decided to stick to OEM (or close to OEM) color.
Went with Porsche Silver (bottle on the left in the picture). I was told that a different clear coat will be used to show more of the flake.
I almost went with the color on the right, but felt it was a bit too dark for me.
Will post pics once I get them back.

Im from Eastern Canada never had a issue with being low.( the winter makes are roads fucked )
the 215/35/18 tires are what made it sketchy

Not a noticeable difference (old on left, new color on right). The old color had a semi satin like finish to it. The new color is a bit glossier and has a slight metal flake. Hard to tell, I know. Right now it seems like the new color gives the spokes a little more definition. I'll post pics once they are on the car.

This is my old B7, and those are 19x9 et46 wheels from an A8. The car is actually about to be put up for sale (with these wheels on it) by its current owner.

Wheels finally on. Hard to tell the difference I know. But overall I'm happy with the reuslts.
