Avant vs s4 avant

Had a small fender bender that will require a new grill. Wanted to go s4. I keep hearing that the regular s4 grill will not fit. Something about it has to be an s-line.

Will somebody set me straight. Does the s4 avant have a different hood?

Which grill will fit my non s-line a4 avant? Liking for s4 grill not rs.

You can fit the S4 grille without issue. All A4, A4 S-Line and S4 grilles are the same size.

However the genuine RS4 and Allroad grilles are all different shapes and only fit their respective models.

I just swapped mine out for an S4 black optic. It's a direct fit as long as it's B8.

I think black optics is a much better looking grille than the RS replicas. I cheated and dipped my stock grille black.
