Best place to buy Audi rings?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys, what's the best place to buy Audi rings (that fit properly) for the front and back?

Trying to see if it's worth it to buy the ones from TAG or to try and pop it out of the grill and paint it myself...

Dunno what to do about the rear rings.

I want them both satin black.

you can def paint them, the front grille rings are just hard to remove without taking off the front bumper.

Well I just ordered a RS5 rep grill from USP, so the grill isn't even on the car yet.

I keep reading about dudes breaking tabs and stuff..

Any tips for not breaking any tabs?

Hold your breath. Seriously I think taking your time is the only answer. Seems to me that that the entire car is put together with dreaded clips.

As far as doing the rear rings, why don't you use plastidip or flexidip with glossifier top coat to get the satin black look? You can do the rear without even removing them from the car. If you end up liking the look and want a less cheap, more permanent solution, buy the TAG Motorsports ones.

Yeah, I've seen a few examples of satin black rings on Daytona Grey online.... I likes...

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on those rings. Front and back. I'll do the fronts myself, but I might take the rears to a body shop. I'm worried about not getting them perfectly straight. I thought about putting marks around the existing rings before I took them off, but then realized that once I rubbed the area with alcohol I'd probably rub the marks off...

    Any thoughts fellas?

I just did mine - rear is easier then the front - just use 3M Blue Tape around the rings.

The rings are one piece - just outlined the rings with tape. I ordered everything through Raywell Design. http://www.raywelldesign.com

OH! hahah I thought you meant you painted yours yourself. My bad!

Geez, much cheaper than the badges TAG sells. Are the rears identical in size to the oem's? Does the front clip in perfectly without the use of any tape to hold it down??

What do you guys think looks best on Daytona grey and a gloss black RS5 grill? Matte or Gloss black badges? Wish they were satin though..

The rings were dead on to oem - rs5 badge was off just a bit almost dead on. Fitment was good to go with no tape needed to hold down.

I just got some chrome rear rings from eurobadgez.com and they're an identical match to what's on my car. I think I paid 17 shipped. They also offer gloss and matte options.

    Damn, that's really cheap.
I'm not trying to throw shade on anyone, but, how does TAG charge $125 for a single badge?
