Excelerate Performance and Integrated Engineering Present

    Camber Plate Pre-Order Discounts!

These camber plates must use the factory strut bearing and will fit the following applications:

    MK7 Golf| GTI | Golf R | MQB A3 | S3 | MK3 TT | MK3 TTS

    Features

Adjustable up to -2 degrees of camber
Direct replacement for OEM strut mounts
CNC machined components for perfect fitment
High quality, high strength spherical bearing
Heat treated alloy steel bearing cup
Uses OE thrust bearing for compatibility with nearly all aftermarket suspension
Individually serialized to ensure quality and authenticity

Lacking camber adjustability from the factory, MQB chassis cars are left begging for a solution to provide negative camber, which is necessary for maximum grip
while cornering. Integrated Engineering adjustable camber plates allow camber adjustment up to -2 degrees, giving you the power to dial in your front suspension and shave
down lap times. Along with added adjustability, IE camber plates feature a steel bearing, which removes the unwanted movement found in OEM rubber mounts and increases handling characteristics.

Our engineering team looked at this application carefully in order to ensure optimum performance. Care was also taken to achieve
desired adjustability without any detrimental effects to daily drivability. A heavy duty US-sourced Aurora spherical bearing controls the top of the shock absorber. It is secured in
a high strength heat treated alloy steel cup, which has been designed to provide a lifetime of reliable service.

The IE MQB camber plates have been designed to reuse the heavy-duty factory thrust bearing. In our testing, we have found this bearing to be well-suited
for the job and reliable for thousands of miles. By using this bearing, our camber plates offer OEM fitment and allow nearly all aftermarket springs and coilovers to be used.

I assume you have to pull the struts from the knuckles? I don't remember the struts being able to lean out where you could remove the bearing without pulling the strut out. As much as I want these now, I'll have to build up my courage to do that crap again. My left front almost had me committed.

Kits are being assembled and stocked at IE now. All orders will drop ship and will be ready to ship definitely by the time the pre order is over (2 weeks) I will have to double check to be sure, but we might be able to ship sooner than that if payments are made in full.

Yes, pulling the struts is necessary to do this properly. I certainly understand the dread pulling the struts again. If you can muster up the energy, let us know!

    ok dude.

I haven't done any suspension work yet but I haven't heard anyone complain about not having enough camber adjustments for the fronts.

can I use these with my PSS10s? I can only get to -1.2 in the front, which sucks! rear has plenty of adjustment stock.

I missed something when doing my rear springs and sway bar. Where is the rear adjustable for camber? I'd like to get me some of that.

My alignment guy took care of that so I don't know the specifics, but before alignment and after lowering the car was -1.7 in the rear. I dialed it down to -0.8 since I wanted a .4 difference between front and rear and the front would only go to -1.2.

I really would like to get the front around -1.5 to -1.7 and the rear around -1.1 to -1.3. Since the rear can get as high as -1.7, the adjustment is plenty for me. I'm just going for an aggressive daily driver setting with more negative camber out front to dial out some understeer. If you need more in the rear, 034 has rear adjustable control arms available here.

Front Only. These also fit factory style angled strut mounts only. Version 2 will have fitments for most aftermarket coilovers that seemingly ditched the factory style angled mount.

There is zero camber adjustment from the factory, so this is a huge upgrade to those keeping the stock mag ride and using some sort of spring upgrade.

Unfortunately not this version. Version 2 will have fitments for most aftermarket coilovers that seemingly ditched the factory style angled mount.

by way of the eccentric lower control arm bolt. Any shop that does alignments (like us) should know how to adjust this.

Correct! Natural design of the front suspension is you will get negative camber the lower the height is, but these will take this to the next level.

Great question. I am not 100% sure as I have a few concerns that will be addressed before an answer is given. If we do not see an issue we are going to be testing it on a local car. Stay tuned! We have a ton of MSS kits on their way to us as soon as they are finished with production and assembly.

    Thanks,

    Greg

Also... verified the Integrated Engineering Plates will indeed work with the MSS kits.

    How about them apples ;)

Thanks everyone for the support and pre-orders, didn't even hit the 10 mark, but that's okay. Expect us to run a sale soon for those who missed out.

For everyone who placed a deposit should pay final invoice as we are packaging and planning to ship everything tomorrow 3/29/16. I will be sending reminders out to everyone tomorrow morning.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, with VW/Audi's design of the strut tower that is not possible. Sorry

You need to modify the strut tower or lower the shock. Once you do this a few times you can get the hang of it.

    Thanks for the update.
Is there a chance to get a few pictures from an installed plate? Or maybe even pictures to see how 'easy' it is to lover the shock to change it? Also do you need an alignment every time you change camber?

    Hello,

I do not have to many pictures of this setup but I hope this one helps.

Adjusting the camber without fully removing the strut from the car might be a bit of a challenge. How hard it will be I cant say as I have not done it my self.

Any time you change something alignment wise it is recommended to get the car aligned.

    Thanks,

    Alex
