    Throttle pipe question. Need advice

    Hello to all.

    I own a 2006 Audi A3 2.0T FWD 8P

I have this car for 5 years now and am happy with it.

I recently ordered a Spulen 2.0T FSI Throttle Pipe http://www.uspmotorsports.com/Audi--...ttle-Pipe.html in the hopes that I could squeeze out the most out of my K03 setup.

According to the writeup of the product, the throttle pipe will improve airflow over stock because of the diameter and material.

Last night I had my car serviced and saw that my stock throttle pipe is aluminum (I think) and looks similar to the Spulen pipe.

My question is: Should I proceed with installing the Spulen pipe and replace my stock aluminum pipe or should I just return the Spulen Pipe? I am not an expert but I think that they look the same. Is the stock aluminum pipe a revision of the old plastic one?

I would attach pics of my stock pipe but don't know how to yet. Let me try this:

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Regards!

Are you sure the aluminum one is stock?

I'll take a peek under my hood later and check to see if my car (which was 100% stock for sure when I bought it) has a plastic or aluminum throttle pipe.

Also, your pictures aren't loading. Use the "insert image" button in the thread-writer too to put a pic in :)
