    Trouble with Audi Connect

    Hi all,

I've searched and searched and am still having trouble getting Audi Connect working in my 2014 SQ5.

I had an extra active SIM laying around from a USB Cellular network adapter. The SIM says "Telekom (D)" on it. I'm not sure where it came from exactly. It was provided to me by my company.

I've tried these APN settings that I've come across in searches and nothing seems to work.

    m2m.tmobile.com
    fast.t-mobile.com
    epc.tmobile.com
    wap.cingular.com
    Broadband

For the username and password I've just entered one space since it will not allow me to leave them blank.

I have data roaming turned on. The 3G connection shows up and I've been connected to both AT&T and T-Mobile towers.

When I try and load audi connect I get the following error:

Is there a method or order that I should do things? Should I enter settings, restart car, remove SIM, insert SIM, etc? Is there a magic order?

    Any suggestions? Thanks!!

subscribed - have the same/similar issue (http://www.audiworld.com/forums/q5-s...blems-2889669/) but never received any responses.

Try either switching maps to google earth first or connecting a device via wifi. In my case, this triggers the connection to connect (you'll see the upload/download arrows on top of the 3g symbol.)
Am then able to connect to audi connect and use online destinations for a few minutes until the connection is idle and goes back to sleep.

So frustrated with this setup process. Wish I could just add a line to my AT&T but I'm on grandfathered unlimited data...
