Was trying to get on a fwy's entrance ramp from the left lane. Floored it and immediately misfired in cyl 1 (from code p0301). Drove back home and pulled the plug. Plugs were changed 3000 miles ago. Here's a picture:

Never seen a burnt plug, is mine burnt? There's no yellowing around the white stem where the logo is printed.

Is it only missing under load (4k rpm and over)? Mine did that, turned out to be a fuel injector. Had a heck of a time tracking it down, took 6 months to figure out. Replaced it, runs great again.

No. It's missing at idle. It kinda goes away with load over 2k rpm. Didn't wanna rev it much while its missing. I'm pretty sure it's either the plug or coil. Can't find an NGK plug within a 50 mile radius. WTF?! I am only able to find an autolite. I know it's not ideal but would it harm my car if I just placed a single autolite plug with a new ignition coil to drive, calmly, to a dealer (~ 68miles) to buy new plug and swap there?
